Training and Internship

Here you will be taught how to find the right vein of the patient after which you will insert a needle for the drawing of the blood. You will also learn how to store the drawn sample blood, keep it fresh and uncontaminated. Then, you have to transport the blood sample to the laboratory where it will be analyzed.

The importance of blood sampling is very essential in the diagnosis of a disease. The task of the phlebotomist became very crucial because of this. The phlebotomy student also has to learn how to communicate with the patients such that the latter will be at ease when blood is drawn from him or her.
